Does loving translation insult Arabic? No. Millions access meaning through translation without loving the Quran less. Does Arabic still matter? Yes. Allah calls it Arabic Quran and Arabic Mushaf (Qur'an 12:2, 41:41). The Book names its own tongue on purpose.
Bridge and shore
Keep one translation you actually finish. Add listening so your ear maps sound. Steal ten minutes weekly for one ayah’s Arabic with a teacher or lesson; continuity beats theater (Sahih Muslim on deeds loved when they stay small but steady).
When English glosses disagree, commentary shows why. See Why translation isn't enough. When the screen steals focus from Arabic lines, see Digital distractions vs. a digital Mushaf.
Stack, don’t shame
Humiliation never taught Arabic. Neither did flexing fluency you do not own yet. Stack practices you can sustain: recite, hear, glance at a word breakdown, ask when stuck.
Where Qurany sits
Qurany puts Arabic first in the layout, translation beside it, tafsir when you open it, plus typography and theme so the eye can stay without a fight.
